Default Hello all from Spring Texas

Hello All. My handle is lockman and I live in Spring, TX. I own a 2009 Express cargo van that I use in my work.
So far it seems like a pretty good vehicle but leaves a lot to be desired in the electrical department. Being my age, I've seen a lot of evolution in the auto industry. I've owned probably 12 new Chevrolets in my time. Some of those include Silverado trucks, a Corvette, Cameros and various midsize autos.
It concers me that the US government is now involved in our auto industry. If they run the auto industry like they do our country, we can forget the fine engineering and design we've grown use to.
Thats all for now. Hope to speak (type) to some of you in the near future.
By the way, I'm not looking for a government debate. We're here to discuss the car company most of us love. Those are my observations only.
Take care.

Spring is actually a right north of Houston. Not far enough north for me but I can't have everything.

It's hotter than Hades around here. All these 100+ days are sending the electric bill through the proverbial roof. I normally have $200 a month electric bill. The last 2 months its been $500. I need a break.
