My name is Lonnie Moore and I live in Parkersburg WV. I am a semi retired Auto mechanic with 42 years experience. Not as up to date as I should be on newer vehicles. I graduated with a degree in Automotive Technology in 1983. I have had a long love affair with Chevy trucks. I've owned 2 different 74 Chevy Blazers a 1980 GMC Sierra 3500. I just sold my baby that I owned for over 30 years, a 1977 GMC Sierra 3500 regular cab dually 4WD 454 4 speed with 4:10's. It was a truck I built myself out of other truck parts. My prersent truck is a pristine low mileage 2000 Silverado1500 5.3 LS 4wd with a topper. I love the older chevys. I have heard of issues with the newer Silverados so I stayed with an older model. I also have a tiny playtoy in a Smart Fortwo named Maxwell Smart that I tinker with. I love gadgets and the Smart is a willing recipient of my crazy ideas. It was hard to give up the 77 dually but I'm getting old and had 2 hip replacements and the clutch on the old Dually was just getting stiff for me to continue driving. My Silverado is a cadillac compared to the old dually and I am spoiled already.
