Hello I just recently purchased a 1990 Chevy Silverado K1500 with a 5.7 and an auto trans for my first vehicle. I joined this forum to share my project experience and get help with it from other members. This truck is a regular cab long box with 238,000 miles on it and she is still running like brand new. I bought it off a old lady that bought it brand new and used it every week to pick up 400 pounds of horse grain. She parked it a year ago because of a busted rear brake line. I have always wanted a Chevy 4X4 and my life long dream came alive for only 500 bucks. After sitting in a field for a year with bad gas in the tank she fired right up and purred like a cat, not one time has it clanked, poped, missed or stalled. I have a lot of plans for this truck and I was hoping you guys would give me some helpful hints! Thanks everyone (pictures as soon as I figure out how to put them up.)
