Default Hi, from Kansas...

I am new to this forum, but have been a Chevy fan for over three decades. My first car was a 1953 210 coupe (found sitting in a field).

I currently have a 1984 K-5 (305), a 1988 Scottsdale (haven't verified which engine yet...just bought it to haul firewood) and a 1993 C-6000 truck (366 tall deck) which I'm making into an RV. I recently sold my 2004 Silverado (miss that truck) and have had various Chevy/GM products over the years, as well as some foreign stuff and the "other" guys. I've found that most American made vehicles are comparable for the first 100k miles, but after that, the GM products are historically much easier to keep going...and I've had several that lasted 250k and more.

I would love to find some exploded parts diagrams for the ones I have now, as there are some nit picky little issues which would be resolved much more easily with them. I hope to find help from others who have dealt with these particular vehicles before.

I ofter you Welcome also stuman2. There's a tech here that's the "cat's meow" when it comes to diagrams. So go to the appropriate section and simply ask...you'll not be disappointed believe me.

Thanks, Gwampa. I'm a relatively new grand father myself...one grandson, one year old. Another grandchild on the way.

I posted a request for exploded parts diagrams in the general tech area...like I said, I'm still new to this forum. If I don't get any responses to it, I'll dig in to see if I can find a more specific area to ask for each vehicle. The c-6000 truck is the hard one...as there aren't many people doing much with those.
