hows it going guys? i found this fourm the other day so i thought i would stop by and see what you guys are all about.. to tell you a bit about my self.. my daily driver is a 03 mitsubihi galant, but i recently picked up a 62 chevy c10 with the 235 straight 6 engine.. as a some what project car, it needs a paint job, a little body work and some small things around the interior. im a student by profesion and a mechanic by hobbie, looking forward to meeting you all.

Welcome. The last 235 I owned had a generator as opposed to an alternator, but the rest looks real familiar. That will make a nice project truck too. Is it a stepside or fleetside?

yeah, i got some new door handles, door locks (it dosent have a lock on the drivers side, and i dont have the key for the passanger), new seat belts, a locking gas lid, and that gas lid gasket on the way.. orderd them from classicparts.com. and im gonna put on the original tail gate back on(the one in the picture) since the old owner gave it to me with the truck
