Unhappy i have a problem....

I have replaced the cam and the crank shaft sensors in my car and I got rid of the p0011, and p0016 engine codes. but now a new problem has come up... their is a real bad knocking noise coming from the engine on acceleration. it sounds like its coming from the drivers side of the engine near the intake. it is a tapping noise. I am looking into the cam magnet now but idk if that is the problem because the magnet is on the passenger side of the engine and the noise is coming from the drivers side. but apparently the magnet is paired with the cam shaft sensor. does anyone know anything about this?

hey, thanks for the reply. I have it in both sections. lol but I think I know what the problem is... I have been doing research and I see similar knocking problems and it seems that I might have a spun bearing so im gonna drop the oil pan and see if I find any metal shavings.

Gizmo if your issue also relates to the Impala look for the "New Thread" button in the top left section of this page:
Impala - Chevrolet Forum - Chevy Enthusiasts Forums

Maybe I am overlooking something. I do not see a new thread button. Not too swift with this stuff.
