Default intermittent white smoke

Hello fellow enthusiasts, I have an intermittent white smoke coming from tailpipes. What might this be. Once the car has been running for a few minutes, the smoke stops. Motor is a 403 6.6l from a 78 olds 98. Bought car with swap and have been making repairs ever since, now I'm stuck on this one. Thank you for your time and knowledge.

Probably headgasket or cracked block.

Thank you for the advice. So being that there are no oil leaks, can I rule out cracked block? And it's there a way to check Jeff gaskets without removing the heads?

Are you checking your coolant level to see if it is going down? White smoke is usually a sign of coolant going to the combustion system. The block or head could be cracked and it wouldn't show in any of the oil passages. You can do a compression check on the cylinders to determine if its a cracked head or head gasket but it won't tell you which one.

Where are you located? How white?

White smoke from condensation is normal this time of year in the colder weather, with the dew point/humidity levels greatly affecting things.

Like right now, it's foggy out, and the tailpipe will throw lots of white smoke.

I actually topped my radiator a few days ago before all of this began. I checked my radiator today and it had a lot of brown foam in it, almost like a chocolate mousse. never seen this before. The oil cap did have the milky substance around it.

You are getting water in your oil also. Disregarding the white smoke, you are getting this possibly through a leaky intake gasket where the water crossover is between the heads.
