I don't know if I'm doing this right please forgive me if I'm not. My vehicle Chevy Cavalier 2.2L DOHC Ecotec dies out but can start again. Took air filter hose off, car won't die out, but I'm wondering how this will affect my car if I continue to drive my car without the filter hose connected. Fyi the filter is new.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Mahalo, Confused in Kailua, Hawaii

Welcome to the forum...
You are welcome to put information about your vehicles or even whimsical statements of enlightenment in your signature, however advertisements are not allowed unless you are a sponsor to the forum...
You can contact Internet Brands at this link -> Contact - Internet Brands Automotive Group

The occasional placement of a link in a forum thread for reference is okay as long as it relates directly to the topic of discussion, but repeated placement of a link that is not sponsored can be considered spam and will be deleted along with the banner of the poster...
If these restrictions were not put in place it could lead to potentially harmful links being placed, that take members to malware or other malicious sites...

Default Hello from Massachusetts

Hi Forum members,

Found this site, after a similar one started having too much spam issues... Hopefully, that doesn't happen here.

Anyways, my name is Alan, I live in Massachusetts.

My Ride is a 2011 Silverado LS Ext Cab 4x4 (Black).

Now with warmer weather approaching, looking forward to enjoying my ride more, hit some car / truck shows in my area.

Looking forward to chatting and possibly meeting anyone local. Chat / offer constructive criticism.

Take Care
