I'm not a chevy owner but on a mission to find this truck. My dad owned a truck very similar to this when I was a kid. I know it was a 80s chevy with a tailgate with chains on side. Short bed and step side. I was only a kid but i loved that truck. I'm almost 30 now and my life goal is to find a truck like his and restore it to bring that old truck that blew to doors off a mustang to fruition. What year and model do you think this Chevy is in the picture? I sort of remember seeing silverado on the side but don't know if that is my terrible memory fooling me.

 

It looks like 1985 or 1986 to me.
