Need Help with Trans Swap into 79 Caprice
Hello, I'm new to the forums and need some help with a transmission swap into a 1979 Caprice. I have an old 86 Camaro that got totaled and I want to swap out the engine and trans into the Caprice. I know the 350 chevy will bolt right up but I'm wondering about the 700 r4 automatic transmission. Will it be possible to attach the shift linkage from a floor shifter to a column shifter? Thanks.
