New member needing help w wiring starter and ignition. I recently bought my k5 and right away wires were melting. I'm thinking it was not wired right by previous owner. I can't figure out how to run my wire from the starter solenoid. I know one goes to the battery(+) right? Does the other one go to the ignition switch,ignition relay or the distributor? I took a picture of these wires also. Can anyone tell me what they are? Thanks for any help One of these wires was what powered the lights when i connected it to starter. The other one melted
