New to the bowtie family
Hi everyone,
Got myself a 1998, 33k-miles-young, gold Chevy Lumina...
My grandpa bought it new back in December 1997 and had it running like a baby... Got maintanence donde at the dealer, he had it weather-proofed, covers on everything, the whole 9. I've even got Warranty and Maintanence Schedule booklet with all the dealer-done stuff done!
Anywho, he got diagnosed with alzheimer's and in 2004 he had to stop driving, so my uncle got the car so he could use it when he came over to visit from New Jersey.
Now its 2010 and 2 weeks ago I bought it off of him... So "The Ingot" is aaaalll mine...
Its not the sportiest of cars... Doesn't really suit me... I've always seen it as what it was... A grandpa's car
... But its practically new, very well taken care of... Its comfy as hell and it runs like a champ, so I can't complain...
Here's a pic of it next to some crappy cars...
