I am a first time chevy owner. Just got a 2009 Chevy Avalanche with only 13 miles on it and now it's been just about a week now there is 300 + miles on it. So far so good knock on wood.

Welcome fishstriper and not to worry. Was reading section on vehicles from Consumer Reports which spoke highly of your truck (the rest of the "recommended" were rice burners). So we GM buffs have a way to go yet, but are making headway.

That's good to hear on the report but I must admit I am a FORD man at hart. But I will always buy AMERICAN!!!
