i am doing the nv3500 swap into my 98 tahoe because of the JUNKEY 4l60e . i bought a new clutch kit and a pedal, clutch master cylinder . and trans . where im stumped is that i bought a 5 speed from a 4.3 98 zr2 s-10. i was told that the shifter on the full size and the s-10 are in a different location. the shifter on the trans i bought is closer to the rear of the trans instead of the middle, this will throw the shifter (maybe) to far back towards the seats.theres not alot of information on the internet about this swap that i could find yet. im really a ford guy at heart but the tahoe made me a believer. does anyone have any ideas? thanks
