Hello everyone! I just picked up a 1970 Impala and can't wait to get to work on it. The guy I got it from saved it from the crusher a few years ago and took it home. He never did anything to fix it up, he just didn't want it crushed. I got it from him for $300. It needs a motor, tranny, has no title and the rear lower quarters need replaced. First on the list is a title. I found that going through VT DMV is the easiest. Its a couple sheets of paperwork and around $100 to get a registration then just transfer it over to my home state and done. The PO has a crate motor and newer 350 tranny in a 69 truck that has been wrecked and might be willing to trade for my old 2 stroke kawasaki. If that works out I should have the car on the road in a month or so. Then the bodywork can begin. Well I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions.
