Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Foster, just picked up a new project, it's a 1995 Silverado, feel like I scored on this one despite the accent paint. Hoping to turn it into a weekend overlanderish slash daily driver. I haven't named it yet if anybody has any suggestions.

Welcome from Alabama!

I've got a 1996 Cheyenne, same "base" color (Indigo I think Chevrolet called it back then), but mine didn't get the stylish lime green accents, haha! I've owned it since 2000, but it's been somewhat neglected since I got a 2006 Silverado in 2014, and my 2 daughters both drove the 1996 while in college. I'm working on a slow restoration project as well, with the end goal being it will be my daily driver once again, after a new paint job (peeled clear coat from 28 years in the sun) and some interior and mechanical work - the AC keeps leaking down on me, and gotta have AC in Alabama in the summer!

Welcome to the forum. It would be a big investment but if you ever want to replace the cloth seat covers, Katzkin is the way to go.

I appreciate the suggestion, but that lime green is going to be gray asap, I'm from the gateway to the PNW, Humboldt. Appreciate the welcome, I'll try to keep everyone posted on any projects.

I kind of like it, let's see if it sticks once it's done.

If you want to allude to the vodka, then it would be Grey Goose. 😉
