well finally after i dunno maybe 5 or 6 years im getting back into my favorite vehicle.... a silverado. ive spent the last five tweaking and customizing imports and i finally realized thats why my back has gotten worse, low down stiff riding sport suspension killin me!

to make a short story long, my buddy had his dads 96 ext cab 5.7 out back since 06 or so, i finally talked him into trading my little ricer for his dads truck (for his g/f's kid ya know).. so as soon as we iron out the last glitch or 2 from sitting in the texas sun for 3 years(not to mention ike) ill once again be the proud owner a silverado...at least for a few months when ill be giving it to my father in law and buying a tahoe

it feels good to think ill once again have an all bowtie driveway (wife has an orange hhr)

It's good to see you come back from the dark (rice) side. Texans and Pickups are a force of nature. Remember now, that 5.7 is going to revv up different than a 1.2 liter 4 (but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it). So welcome.
