New member in Nicaragua

Howdy everyone,

I am in central america and have a 3500 Express van, we drove it down from Washigton state, that was an expierience. I am looking forward to being a member of this group and getting a few pointers on keeping my baby running well.

Just a loco gringo. We came here for a vacation and loved it, figured out a way to retire early and bought a farm in the mountains. Bananas and cacao but it's mango season now the avocado trees are fruiting too.

The local roads are bad and I need to get the van 'beefed up' a bit.

Welcome to the forum Planter. Probably best "beef up" for those types of roads is lower speeds and good anticipation. Rainfall there has got to be a bear too.
