Default new from mid-mo

hi my name is ben. i'm an auto tech student at linn tech. currently have an 84 monte carlo project sitting in the woods. building the motor in class. it'll be a bottle fed 355. i have a 91 s-10 as a daily driver. it looks clean but it's slow as hell. 2.8 5spd runs a mid 17. if i do any swap into it it would be a built 4.3 liter.

why not do a chevy 350 swap if youre going to do a swap? you have to swap all the same parts (engine, tranny, exhaust, radiator, fuel system, etc), you just have to do a little more chassis modification, and it really wont get much worse fuel economy, plus 350s are more common.
