Hey my name is JJ, new to the forum and new to suburbans. Just purchased a 03 suburban z71, picked it up for a great price $4950 at 146k. So far the research suggests these are pretty solid vehicles that are very dependable. I would like to put new springs and shocks on it to make the ride smoother, but have not reseached it yet. Also when its not moving and you turn the wheel there is a clicking/creeking sound I want to fix (column bearing???). One thing that is already becoming frustrating is picking headlights for it. I want to get that hyperwhite look and it seems very hard to find matching low/high/fog lights. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Not sure if I should go HID, LED, Xenon, Halogen w/HID attitude.... Not looking to spend $200+ on headlights. Looking forward to learning more about my subsurban.
