speedometer problems

Hi I just recently purchased a 1991 s10 sonoma with a 350 in it and have no speedometer what is the best way to hook up a speedometer in this truck ....need help thanks,,

I have no cable at all for the speedometer not sure what to get since its a factory dash and has a 350 transmission now

What year is the transmission?. You have to determine if it was made to use a cable or a speed transmitter. It might be simpler to use an aftermarket speedometer, but get one for the transmission you have in the truck.
