Warranty Disgust over a less-than-a-yr Sonic!
I am so upset with how the service is in Chevrolet Philippines. Extremely poor customer relations and not solution-oriented.
We bought a car from Chev Otis branch less than a year ago, around July 2014 and one day, the car just wont start its engine. I immediately called the Chevrolet assistance and they kept forwarding it to a different number. It was a lot of hassle. Finally, they assisted and I asked, since it's still covered under warranty, will any Chevrolet casa accommodate the repair since there was no misuse of the car? They said yes so I opted to have it towed to the dealer which is nearest to us, at Chevrolet Pasig. Now, they said I have to pay 6,800php for the replacement of the battery due to bad cell. And mind you, this was only bought in July 2014 and it already have a busted battery! I said to the lady, technically it should still be covered under warranty and should be no cost to our part. Now they wanted me to have it towed to Otis branch but the insurance would want to charge me 4,500php! I am so frustrated and irritated with the kind of service and how they value their customers. All our other old cars were also bought brand new from other make but we never had this kind of problem esp if its still covered by warranty. Please help! We're still paying the car and we are hoping that because we bought it brand new, it should be worry-free as much as possible. Thats why we even considered to buy in Chevrolet, thinking its a good make and good customer service but so far, its all disappointment.

I'm not sure about Phillipines, but in North America is 12 months on the battery if I read that right.
