Well if they do a sport model of the Silverado wouldn't they change out the rear end altogether? If I were to do it I put in the ZETA that is anticipated for use in the new camaro. And Yeah you wouldn't be able to tow jack but come on people you cant have everything in one. And I may be wrong but right now the emissions deal is more a deal where you can only have so many models that get crappy gas mileage. So I really don't know that GM will end up putting something like the silverado sport on the market anyways. Leastwise not with the excitement and reaction they've gotten for the camaro.

It would be really good if they put in the Chevy Corvette engine on the new Silverado SS just like what Dodge did with their pickup truck. They slammed in a Viper engine on their Ram SRT10. If they ever did put a Corvette engine on the Silverado, that would just be totally badass!

I wanna see a video that supports the new SS. I think that blue 427 is a really nice model for it.
