Default 1970 Nova - TH350 Mount Bolts

Hello, everybody. I am installing a TH350 in my 1970 Chevy Nova. Some of the hardware that I need for installation was missing when I purchased it. I cannot seem to find the proper bolts that attach the transmission mount to the transmission case. Apparently GM started using metric size bolts after 1978 (M10 x 1.5). These do not thread into my transmission case. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Are you talking about the shock mount on the crossmember? I don't think there was metric anything, are those 5/8"?

No they would be 3/8 X 16 course as you can see 5/8 would be a monster

More than likely 3/8X 1 1/2 would do it for you requires a 9/16th inch socket

A 5/8 th takes a 15/16 inch socket
