Default 71 Cutlass Supreme 350 into 78 Nova 305

Will a 350 engine out of a 71 Cutlass Supreme bolt up on a 78 Nova 2dr that had a 305 5.0L? I want to put this 71 Cutlass Engine into a 78 Nova and do not know it will mount up? If so, will the turbo 350 to the rear axel be the same or will a new drive shaft be needed?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

anything can happen if you make it. the olds engine needs the trans that came with it, you will also want the rad, and trans cooling lines as they are on the opposite sides as the chevy. measure tail shaft lengths on both trans and then mark off where the old tailshaft ends, then drop the new engine in to have the tailshafts ends. although if the tailshaft on trans A is longer than trans B, than it wont work, its all in the tail. the olds engine is big though, you may be happier just finding an old 350
