Hello everyone! How are you guys?

Well, I am a 15 year old guy who just recently got his first car just this summer. Completely in love with cars for no apparent reason! I bought a 1986 Volvo 240 DL and haven't looked away from the car since. I know it's not a Chevrolet, but I still completely love this car!

The purpose to writing this post was for my neighbor's car.
She is an older woman, who is commonly known in our apartment to be the lonely, crazy, screaming, paranoid old hag who no one talks to. I've known her all my life because she has been here since my parents first moved in. Well, in my eyes, she is still a really nice lady. I still remember times where she would give me candy and smiles, while she would be screaming at the other tenants or argue with other people. I just had a longgggg talk to her about my first car, and then we got onto the subject of her car.

She has a Blue 1967 Chevrolet Nova II that I have always admired since I was a child. Literally hundreds of car owners *a month* ask her for a price on the car, but she just won't budge. I must admit she is a strange lady, who does the daily routine everyday, is paranoid for no reason, but again she is the same old lady I knew since birth so I still like her.

Basically, this car can be in better shape. She tells me stories about how everyone seems to love to hit her car, front and back, but it still hasn't broken down. What erks me is that there is a scratching of "Fck you" on her car for no reason at all, and she has multiple dents and bends in her car.

I really want to her help out in her car. Many have scammed her, trying to take the car and run, but she was smart enough to keep it to herself. I think I would be able to replace the hood, maybe clean the interior, and get the car repainted maybe.

In general, this car is a beauty! The cosmetics are okay, but then again you can always clean it up a little! I love her car to death, and it would be an honor for me to help her. She literally is judged too harshly, and I can give her a little company as a friend. Can anyone help me out, too? I just need to find out some basics on this car; like is it easy to replace the hood, etc?

This car is definitely worth the sweat to get to tip-top shape. Guaranteed.

Please let me know you guys! I know you see me as a noob or some dumb kid, but I really love doing mechanic stuff. I just replaced most of my Volvo to become a really good running car and looks insane! I even changed the hood and fenders myself which was kind of surprising.
