Hi,
I am changing out my stereo in my 2007 Tahoe. It has the factory bose system.

I am removing the front and rear door speakers which are both 6 1/2 Bose speakers. Make me an offer. First come first serve.

I hadnt planned to change the Tweeters in the A-Pillar, however if you are interested in them make me an offer on them as well. Thanks.

 

Do you know if by chance they are the same size that the 07 silverado uses? Same plug? Ill see if I can dig up the info somewhere. Ill get back with ya.

 

I checked at crutchfield and it seems that old and new body style silverados are 6 1/2 in the front. However, on the rears it on some of the ext. cab crutchfield says modification with a spacer may be needed and to use the factory grilles. I am guessing that the factory ones would work fine in the rear as well, and only modification would be needed if you were installing aftermarket.

Let me know otherwise I am probably giong to put them on Ebay!

I am not sure the tweeters will work in your vehicle. I dont know where you would install them. You dont have any now, right?

 

Yeah, ive got tweeters in the a-pillars. Stupid Bose wiring. Ugh!

 

Can anyone confirm if I remove my bose speakers that they will be plug and play in a non bose vehicle? just like any aftermarket speaker? No custom wires or plugs will be needed?

Fireman is interested and his dealer told him he would need all kinds of parts to simply add my bose speakers to his non bose vehicle? Thanks.

I found these pictures off the internet. They removed from an 07 escalade however I am sure they are the same a what I have. The back of them have the same little speaker harness that I am sure yours has. They would be plug and play!

I contacted Bose Automotive Division, they told me it is not possible to connect Bose speakers to a non Bose system. Sorry man, I tried.
