I had the clear 3M protectant applied to my Tahoe, so now I don't need the hood protector anymore. It was only a couple of months old. This is a genuine GM part (part # 12499268) and is factory-painted to match any Silver Birch '07 Tahoe or Suburban. There are no scratches, no dings, no dents, and no scuffs. It is practically brand new! It'sa low profile design and form-fitted to match the lines on the hood exactly.
