Default 1927 ford roadster CHEVY MOTOR PROBLEM?

i have a street rod with a small block 355 chevy motor with a magneto and a tunnel ram went for a cruise and was coming home and i thought i was fouling out a plug so i got on it to try to blow it out and it sounded like it came out of it and when i turned into my driveway it just quit runing i tried to start it but it would not fire i pushed it in the garage it sat all night i went out in mourning and it fired right up what the deal?

Sounds like an ignition issue. It's possible you had an overheating coil or ignition module, and it crapped out till things cooled off. Too bad you didn't check for spark right away so you could have maybe narrowed it down. Now you have one of those hit & miss deals hanging over your head.

it has a magneto it had spark but it does not do it all the time
