Default 1958 Chev Delray trim info needed

Hi folks, I have a 1958 Delray 2dr sedan. Thw windshield is the same as the Biscayne and Belair and shares the same moldings. I suspect the Impala lower corner moldings is the same. My problem is this: I have the corner moldings but the clips were rusted away to nothing and I have no idea what they look like and have tried all over to source them, to no avail. Can I modify a 57 corner clip? There is a bolt hole in the A-pillar and the molding relies totally on the upper and lower moldings and the missing clip to remain attached, unlike the 7 molding which is also screwed to the bottom of the dogleg. The absence of these clips (one each side) is holding up the installation of the windshield...which is holding up its transportation to a mechanic to do the drivetrain work (as the car will need to be weathertight). There are three cars in the NZ Chev club and none of the members have ever had their screen out to tell me, plus they all live 7 hours away. Please help with info or pointing me in the right direction. Thanks, Bruza G. New Zealand

http://oldsjunction.classicoldsmobile.com/parts.html these are not exclusive just to Olds. You can try them, or they might be able to help you.
