Hi, looking for suggestions on a 1978 GMC k2500. Im going to rebuild this truck and looking at upgrading the original 350 engine. One suggestion was to install a 5.3L out of a 2005-2008 pickup. Does anyone have information on whats required? Is it worth the extra costs? Another option will be to rebuild the original or go with a 350 crate engine. The end result with this truck is a daily driver with more power and better fuel mileage. Thanks.
