looking for hep on how to get 1983 4-speed gas out of reverse. backed out of garage and it wouldn't come out of reverse.

 

How about with motor off on level surface, should be able to get back in to neutral. Have a helper rock car bck & forth. How many miles on the clutch?

 

already tried that and several other suggestions from the internet. Stumbled on to a site that suggested having one person depress the clutch while another went under the car and jiggled the driveshaft. popped it right out and now it shifts fine.
