Alright guys ive almost pulled out all of my hair trying to figure out this small annoying issue, I have a 1985 Chevy K10 Scottsdale with a 305 in it. Only problem I have with the thing is that It won't start up right away you turn the key and it'll click like the battery is dead but it only clicks one and nothing, a friend of mine said it sounds like the fly wheel wasn't catching right. Told me to roll the truck backwards then try, we did that a few times and it started. It does this everytime I cut it off. Recently I found a small solution that kinda works. If I play with the shifter while it's in park I can get it to roll over and start right up. Any ideas. Keep in mind I'm not a mechanic and know almost nothing about vehiclez but I have a buddy of mine working with me on this truck.

 

NEVERMIND FIGURED IT OUT. was a loos positive cable on the starter. Lol
