1989 Winnebago Warrior with a Chevy P30 Chassis and a Seized 454 Engine
So this morning I went to start my RV. I had just taken her on a trip down to Key West and back with 0 issues. She’s been sitting since the super bowl. When I went to start her up this morning, she started, after a few times of shutting off (this is nothing out of the norm). Once she was mostly warmed up, I put her in reverse and she stalled again. When I went to start her up again, it felt like the motor had seized. It’s a carbureted 454. My father loosened the belts to make sure it wasn’t the starter or alternator. He mentioned the fly wheel would not turn. Clearly I don’t know much about situations like this, and am looking for suggestions at this time. Looking forward to hear what anyone has to say. I will give updates as my father works on it to try and find the problem. Thanks in advance!
