Not sure if i'm posting in the right section or not so if this is in the wrong section sorry!. I have a Chevy 454 86 model in my motor home. Its got a carb and I wanna change it to TBI. what I was wondering is if I can go to my local junk yard and get what I need from there.
Currently I have added Ram air to give it an extra 2-3mpgs I just did a full tune up. Its getting around 13mpg at the moment (which isn't bad for that size). I was told that I could change the carb to TBI fairly easy but not exactly sure what to get from the junk yard, what year to be looking for and what all has to come out.. So any help would be appreciated.
