hello all.

im brand new to this forum and i am looking for some help/ knowledge on some ideas that i want to do to my scottsdale.
i currently have a bone stock "grandpa truck" 1987 scottsdale v20 4X4 with a TBI 350 and a turbo 400 transmission, single cab long bed, all 100% stock.
i am really wanting to do a 4 speed swap for this truck, a suspension lift as soon as possible.
the lift is the easy part but i am not sure about the manual swap.
has anybody on here successfully completed a swap???
it would be really interesting to figure out what all i would need to do, if i can keep the stock transfer case or not, different driveline, and in general everything that i would need to do. im wanting the end result to look like it came from the factory as a 4 speed, not jimmy rigged to work.
its not going to be a wheeler or anything crazy, just taking it across a state or two for hunting, and a all around nice truck. input is appreciated and i thank you all for your time!
