as far as i know the engine and the tranny have not been replaced. its a 350 v8. the truck has 160,xxx miles right now. the truck drives great but im wondering if it could make a 212 mile drive to outer banks?

 

There are vehicles listed on this Forum, which have upward toward 300K miles on them. And with reasonable maintenance, so will yours !

Be smart "before" you go on a Trip...
Check the air in your tires,
Have fresh Oil and Filter in it,
Check the other Fluids,
Have a good Spare Tire and Tools to install it,
Take a Flashlight and a few Hand Tools just in case...

Be careful, and get it together before you leave,
and your trip and time will be much more enjoyable !

 

With that, check belts/hoses.
