89 Cheyenne feels like gas-brake at same time??
Hope I am at right place. First time user. My 89 chevy Cheyenne standard shift sat up all winter. When I try to go it feels like I am applying the brake and gas at same time. Once I get over the "stall" hump it goes ok but when I put it in first, It feels like I am pulling 5 tons....it begs and strains then it sort of lurches then takes off?? My stops seem like my front right wheel wants to lock??? Anyone please tell me how to solve this prob? Thank you very much
maybe a caliper is seized. do you smell burning brake pad? Is one rotor or drum much hotter than the others?
Is the e brake stuck on?
raise both front wheels and spin each wheel by hand.....any drag....do the same for the back with the trans in neutral

I think I have front disc and rear drums???I dont know. I jacked up and front spin ok ..rear will turn and spin a little...not quite as freely as front.???My motor seems to bog down like I am applying the brakes and it almost dies. It then grabs, lurches forward and engine then revs up and once I get it rolling seems ok. Malybe a little rough. My idle seems to have changed some as though the engine revs up and down. Once I put it in first gear it feels like I am trying to tow a load of logs!! Then it revs up until I place it in second gear and it trys to bog down again?????
