Default Engine: Running rough

I have a 1992 Blazer Full-Size and when I have the pedal hardly down at about 25 miles per hour it runs real rough. It sounds like its about to cut out. It's kinda like its running too rich, but its TBI. One thing I can think of is the temp. It won't register more than about 130, and it used to run 190-185 before the new engine. Everything is the same in design. I put in a new thermostat and new coolant temp sensor. Think maybe I could need a new O2 sensor? The exhaust smells strongly of gas, even after about 30 minutes of running. Thanks.

An O2 sensor should be part of the tune up on those Year models. Change it and Your plugs and do a good tune up.

If ya haven't figured it out already...Check your EGR valve. It might have a pinhole leak in it.

Haven't seen my EGR valve in about 30k, wasn't thinking of that. My catalytic joke is fine.
