Help with crank repair
Small dilemma. So I've got a 350 out of a food truck, however relevant that may be. Someone rebuilt it at some point and messed up the cylinder 2 bearing and bearing surface pretty bad. Luckily the connecting rod doesn't appear to be damaged at all. The pistons and con rods are of unknown weight, so if I were to get a new crank to replace it, I would have to figure out how to accurately weigh them, or get new ones to go with the new crank. What I'm wondering is, would it be worth it to get the current crank bearing surface ground and get thicker bearings to accommodate for it, or should I get a new crank and either get new rods and pistons as well or try and weigh the current ones to have the new crank balanced for them?
