My wife was driving her 2010 impala down the highway and got a starting disabled service throttle message then the car turned off and lost all control of the car and had a 18 wheeler behind her and our kids. He had to hit the ditch to miss her. What needs to be done to it? I want it fixed before the worse can happen.

 

Evidently, it's the subject of a safety recall. Talk to your dealer or GM HQ.

 

When it comes to the newer cars and trucks I'm at a loss. Give me a older truck and day.
