The writer on the HP says the SSR is a pickup truck, roadster, and a muscle car all rolled into one. And while I can see where he's coming from, I've always thought the SSR looked weird. But the commercial was awesome — I think this ran during the Super Bowl? What do y'all think of the SSR?

I like the way it looks like an early 50's Chevy pickup.

I can see the lines of the old trucks like you're talking about... Still not really sold, but I do think they deserve some props for making a production car that really looks like it should be a concept car on a pedestal.

props for bringing the truck to production. I like hard top convertibles. The truck is built on a trailblazer chassis. the 300hp versions felt under powered.

I too like hard top convertibles, along the lines of a 63 vette!

did they have a foldable hard top in 63 or do you take it off and set it somewhere?

The 63 Vette had a soft top that folded but the hard top had to be taken off and set somewhere.

It would have done better if it was less expensive.
