questions about restoring the interior of a 78
i want to restore the interior of my 1978 chevy k10. Anybody have any ideas of the best way to do this? also should i keep it stock? Will it be worth more in the long run to keep it stock?

The real question should be what do YOU want to do with your interior and what will YOU like the best. The ideas are limitless! The only limitation is your creativity and your skill level.
So what direction are you wanting to go and I can try and assist you in how to achieve your goal.
When I did the interior of my '77 I wanted it to appear close to stock but be updated. To achieve this I fit my cab with some seats out of an '02 Silverado (write up linked in my sig), I put in Dakota Digital gauges and also fit in a 6 disc changer from LMC where the head unit fits in the stock location so there's no cutting of the dash. I've also acquired a Temp/Compass rearview mirror that'll be installed soon. So overall the interior has the "stock" feel but is still noticeably updated.
