Source of past interior fabrics ????
Anyone know of the place where I might be still able to find the velour fabric of the seat covers for my 1990 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ?

JimW Welcome to the froum 
I would have to agree, the likelihood of finding something that matches is slim... but finding a set of something close is do-able... I'd also check local custom shops... might even check with local body and paint shops as they have to be able to find that stuff for repairs for accidents...

1990 Silverado interior ?
Yeah I have tried the local shops, they don't carry anymore. But I found one place online who knows the fabric and sent me a chart, and the fabric is # 0460 but he doesn't have any, but is doing a search for any of it among his contacts. Problem is it is the same on the door panel's ?

Your best bet is Detroit Body Products. 800-521-8383 They may not sell to you, but your local trim shop should be able to order it for you.

Yeah, I tried that route. I loaded 5 pages of suppliers or fabrics, and I gave up. Of the five goggle pages I emailed about 10 of them and I found only one, "Original Auto fabrics" who found the fabric that is on the doors, #0465 which is a copy of the seat fabric, but it is a 'Non-Stretch' fabric which would never work as a seat fabric as it would come apart quite quickly under daily use. but thank you !

Well, the best efforts in vain.
Hi Everyone.
I finally gave up and bought a new set from "Shear Comfort Inc." who makes as close to what I need as it's going to be found. They don't match but as soon as I need to install them they'll just have to do. I think once the covers are on you won't notice the difference so much ?
