Default 02 Blazer wiper blades

The wiper blades on my Blazer have been a nuisance item for as long as owned the truck. Have tried more than one brand/type blade, refills, complete wiper assemblies, with little improvement. Unless it's raining full blast and the glass is super wet the blades scrape and chatter worse than any other vehicle I own (or have owned). Does anyone else notice this? What blades have any of you found that seem to work best for you?

Rain-X brand works for me along with Rain-X fluid in the wiper fluid container.

Thoroughly clean the glass as there might be a film of something on there that is not easily seen. Something like a light overspray of paint or anything that would cause the glass not to be a completely smooth surface.

Keeping the glass clean is hard to do considering the places I go with it. I will give the Rain X brand a try.

Sometimes it can be sap from a tree or a large bush that covers your windshield with a very light coat of sap, so make sure that's not an issue. Something like "Simple Green" will take that stuff off without damaging your paint.

Had a problem with mine, I bent the wiper arm a bit so that it would make a firmer contact with the windshield, now it wipes better.
