Default '02 s10 zr2, cylinder 2 misfire

Truck 127K was stuttering between 55-60mph during recent 500 drive. Stopped for gas and check engine light came on. 2 days later engine very rough drove 2 miles check engine now flashing. OBD II says P0101 MAF or VAF malfunction + P0302 Cylinder 2 misfire. Was going to go to dealership to get the recalled tailgate cables replaced. Probably going to let them do a diagnostic. Any help/insight into cost of repair would be appreciated.
This is my first post.

Put some drying additives in the gas, then clean the MAF sensor. (Box on the intake tube above the airbox.)
Clear the codes and drive it. Check the codes again after about a day or 2.

I'm think the MAF problem was a preexisting problem and bad gas aggravated it.

Thanks for the direction I'll check it out. Don't have the cash to let the dealers touch it. Wouldn't be surprised if bad gas exasperated this problem. I like many other folks have been forced to use it. Don't ask me how but #2 spark plug wire was OFF. Maybe that will limit the codes to one if it happens again.

The word is "Exacerbated" (C:

Thats your misfire then... The plug wire is very important!

Just clean the MAF then.
