1981 Chevy Blazer

ok so i just got an account and was wondering who could help me on my truck. got it a couple of years ago when i was only 14 and have very little into it. im 17 now and want to get this baby runnin like a champ. right now i need to know what gauge of sheet metal i should get to wield the rust holes up. the rocker panel on the driver side is conpletely rusted through i have a couple of friends willing to help me out so if i could get some help on some of the little things tha would be great

I dont know anything about welding, but I can tell you the old Blazer's are very cool. Post some pictures here when you get her fixed up. Good Luck
