Default 1991 suburban 1500 break sticking

I have a 1991 suburban 1500. My grandfather always told me when it was sticking on the passenger side break to just drive it and it would stop. It does but this is clearly not the fix. I havent drove it in 5 years but have it ready and its sticking again. It pulls to the right but when you hit the break it evens out and stops pulling. I've done the calipers a couple times to no avail. I'm stuck on this one (no pun) and could really use some help as I am living in it in the woods. Thanks.

Welcome from Florida. I would check the rubber hose for brake fluid going to each of the front wheels. I have seen them go bad and get clogged.

Thanks from Texas. It bleeds fine from what I can tell. The hoses are old but not terrible. Is it common to have to clean a brake system? What's the success rate on that and what does it look like?

the flex line can deteriorate and act like a one way check valve. yes it bleeds but does it allow fluid to return to the master? when you step on the brake it can apply up to 5000psi but when you release the only pressure to return fluid is the square cut seal in the caliper.
press and release the brake pedal. check for drag by turning the wheel. crack the bleeder screw...turn the wheel...if the drag is gone...try replacing the flex hose.

since you have replaced the caliper, the only other possibility is a flex hose or bad master cylinder. a flex line effect 1 wheel, the master should effect more than 1 wheel. flex line cheap, master expensive...start with the flex line.

Thanks. Flex line. 23 bucks. On the road again.
