I have a 1993 big block (8 Liter) Suburban that I love and another 1992 Suburban 1500 (6.5 Liter) both with tow packages. I want to keep the 8 liter but the body has been wrecked badly and has not suffered well through repair. I've been told I can switch the engine into the 1500 body, but I suspect the frames/motor mounts/drive trains would be different and therefore, not doable. Can anyone tell me if it is possible? I really would love to reincarnate this old truck.
