kind of in a jam so any help is really appreciated. 1993 s-10 2.8, 2wd, 5 speed. the other day i started it and turn the heater on. engine hesitated but was fine. today it started but there was a whinning noise that increased with the rpm's. then after i shut it off it will not start. radio works but starter doesn't click at all when turning the key.

 

think it's just a ground! working good and putting out about 14-15 amps.
